Lighting modes refer to the different lighting options or settings provided by a flashlight. Flashlights typically offer multiple lighting modes, allowing users to adjust the light intensity, range, and special effects based on their needs. Here are some common flashlight lighting modes: high mode, low mode, dimmable, strobe, SOS, and more.

The memory function in a flashlight refers to its ability to remember and restore the previously used lighting mode or setting. When a flashlight has a memory function, it retains the last used mode (e.g., brightness level, strobe, SOS) even after being turned off. This allows the user to easily resume using the flashlight in the preferred mode without the need to cycle through all the available modes again.

Constant light in a flashlight refers to a feature where the brightness level of the light remains consistent and does not fluctuate over time or with changes in the battery's charge level. Maintaining a constant high brightness level can significantly reduce the operational time of a flashlight.

Zom Focus also known as sliding focus, refers to a feature in flashlights where the user can adjust the focus of the light beam by physically extending or retracting the flashlight's head or lens. By pulling or pushing the head or lens of the flashlight, the user can change the beam's width and intensity. When the head or lens is extended, the light beam becomes narrower and more concentrated, allowing for longer-range illumination. Conversely, retracting the head or lens widens the beam, providing broader coverage at shorter distances.

Twist focus, also, as known as a rotational focus, is a feature found in flashlights that allows the user to adjust the focus of the light beam by rotating a portion of the flashlight. Typically, this involves rotating the head or bezel of the flashlight. By twisting the head or bezel in one direction or the other, the user can change the width and intensity of the beam. When twisted in one direction, the beam becomes narrower and more concentrated, providing a longer-range spotlight effect. Twisting it in the opposite direction widens the beam, creating a broader floodlight effect for illuminating larger areas at shorter distances.

With USB Type-C charging, the flashlight can be charged using a USB Type-C cable connected to a compatible power source, such as a wall adapter, power bank, or computer. USB Type-C charging in a flashlight refers to the use of a USB Type-C port as the charging interface. USB Type-C is a versatile and reversible connector that offers faster charging speeds and increased convenience compared to traditional USB connectors. With USB Type-C charging, the flashlight can be charged using a USB Type-C cable connected to a compatible power source, such as a wall adapter, power bank, or computer.

Magnetic charging in a flashlight refers to a charging method that utilizes a magnetic connection between the flashlight and its charging cable. Instead of traditional plug-in charging methods, magnetic charging allows the flashlight to be effortlessly and securely attached to a magnetic charging dock or cable.

Heat dissipation refers to the ability of a flashlight to effectively dissipate or remove heat generated during operation. When a flashlight is in use, especially at higher brightness levels, it generates heat due to the energy conversion process. Good heat dissipation helps to maintain the flashlight's functionality, prevent overheating, and ensure longer operational life.

Temperature control in a flashlight refers to a built-in mechanism that monitors and regulates the temperature of the flashlight during operation. The temperature control system is designed to prevent the flashlight from overheating, which can damage its components or pose a safety risk. It typically utilizes temperature sensors and a control circuit to adjust the output power or activate cooling mechanisms, such as thermal management systems or heat sinks, to maintain a safe operating temperature.

Overcharge protection is a feature in flashlights that safeguards the battery from excessive charging. It prevents the battery from being charged beyond its safe capacity, which can lead to overheating, reduced battery life, or even battery failure. Overcharge protection circuits monitor the battery's voltage and automatically cut off the charging process once the battery reaches the optimal charge level, preventing any further charging.

Over-discharge protection is a feature that safeguards the battery from being discharged beyond its safe limit. It prevents the battery from being excessively drained, which can cause irreversible damage, reduced capacity, or complete failure of the battery. Over-discharge protection circuits monitor the battery's voltage during discharge and cut off the power supply to the flashlight when the voltage drops to a critical level, ensuring the battery is not discharged beyond its safe limit.

The dual power source in a flashlight refers to the capability of the flashlight to be powered by two different types of power sources. Typically, this means that the flashlight can be operated using either disposable batteries (such as AA or AAA) or rechargeable batteries (such as lithium-ion). The dual power source feature provides versatility and convenience to the user. They can choose to use disposable batteries when access to electricity or recharging options is limited.

Power bank functionality in flashlights refers to the ability of the flashlight to serve as a portable charger for electronic devices. With this feature, the flashlight can be used to charge smartphones, tablets, or other USB-powered devices by connecting them to the flashlight's built-in USB port. The flashlight acts as a power source, utilizing its battery capacity to provide charging capabilities on the go. This functionality is particularly useful in situations where access to a traditional power outlet is limited or unavailable.

The charging indicator is a light or LED on the flashlight that illuminates or changes color to indicate the charging status. When the flashlight is connected to a power source for charging, the charging indicator will typically light up or change color to indicate that the charging process has started. Usually, red for low power, yellow for medium, and green for full charged.

The battery power indicator is a light or LED on the flashlight that provides information about the remaining battery power. Usually, green for high, yellow for medium, and red for low

The "glow in the dark" function of a flashlight refers to a feature where certain components or elements of the flashlight have the ability to emit a faint glow or luminescence after being exposed to light. This means that even in the absence of a direct light source, these components can continue to emit a soft glow for a period of time. This feature is particularly useful in low-light or dark environments, as it allows the user to locate or find the flashlight easily.

The magnetic hanging feature in flashlights allows them to be conveniently suspended or attached to metallic surfaces using magnets. Flashlights with this functionality typically have a built-in magnet in the tail or body of the flashlight. This enables users to attach the flashlight to metal objects, such as car hoods, refrigerators, or other magnetic surfaces, providing hands-free illumination in various situations. The magnetic hanging feature enhances the versatility and ease of use of the flashlight, making it convenient for tasks that require both hands or when a stable light source is needed in a specific location.

A front switch, as the name suggests, is located near the front or head of the flashlight. It is typically a button or a sliding switch that is easily accessible when holding the flashlight with one hand.

A rear switch, on the other hand, is positioned at the back or tail of the flashlight. It is usually a button that can be pressed with the thumb when gripping the flashlight in a traditional manner.

Flashlights with advanced sealing technology often feature O-rings or gaskets at critical points such as the battery compartment, switch area, and lens. These seals help to create a barrier against water and dust, protecting the internal components from damage and maintaining the integrity of the flashlight.

IP rating, in flashlights refers to the level of protection they offer against solids (such as dust) and liquids (such as water) based on the International Protection Marking standards. The IP rating is represented by two digits, with each digit indicating a specific level of protection.

  1. First Digit (Protection against Solids):
  2. IP0X
  3. IP1X: Protection against solid objects larger than 50mm in diameter.
  4. IP2X: Protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm in diameter.
  5. IP3X: Protection against solid objects larger than 2.5mm in diameter.
  6. IP4X: Protection against solid objects larger than 1mm in diameter.
  7. IP5X: Protection against dust that may harm the device but cannot fully penetrate.
  8. IP6X: Complete protection against dust, ensuring no ingress.

Second Digit (Protection against Liquids):

  1. IPX0: No protection against liquids.
  2. IPX1: Protection against vertically falling water drops.
  3. IPX2: Protection against water drops falling at an angle up to 15 degrees.
  4. IPX3: Protection against spraying water at an angle up to 60 degrees.
  5. IPX4: Protection against water splashes from any direction.
  6. IPX5: Protection against low-pressure water jets from any direction.
  7. IPX6: Protection against high-pressure water jets from any direction.
  8. IPX7: Protection against temporary submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
  9. IPX8: Protection against continuous submersion in water beyond 1-meter depth.

The energy-saving mode ensures optimized runtime by reducing light intensity. This mode is particularly suitable for situations that require prolonged use under medium lighting conditions, such as reading, walking at night, or serving as a supplemental light source.

UV (Ultraviolet) light is a type of light with a wavelength shorter than visible light. In flashlights, UV light is often used for specialized applications such as counterfeit detection, forensic investigations, and certain scientific or industrial processes. It can cause certain materials or substances to fluoresce, making them easier to identify or analyze.

Red light has a longer wavelength than other visible light colors, making it less likely to disturb night vision or attract attention. Flashlights with a red light mode are commonly used in situations where preserving night vision is crucial, such as astronomy, photography, or military operations. Red light is also less likely to affect wildlife or disturb sensitive environments.

Green light is another color within the visible light spectrum. Flashlights with a green light mode are often used in hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities where green light is less likely to spook or alert animals. It is believed that green light is less disruptive to night vision compared to white light, making it a preferred choice in certain situations.

Blue light has a shorter wavelength and higher energy compared to other visible light colors. In flashlights, blue light is sometimes used for specific applications such as blood tracking during hunting or forensic investigations. It can enhance the visibility of certain substances or clues that may not be easily detectable under other lighting conditions.

The tail light in a headlamp refers to a red-colored light located on the backside of the headlamp unit. It serves as a signaling device, allowing others to see you reliably from behind, enhancing safety in situations such as road traffic or construction sites.

Chemical resistance in a flashlight refers to its ability to withstand exposure to various chemicals without experiencing damage or deterioration. It is the flashlight's resistance to the potentially harmful effects of chemicals such as solvents, acids, oils, and other corrosive substances. Chemical resistance is an important feature, particularly in industrial or hazardous environments where flashlights may come into contact with chemicals during use. It helps to prolong the lifespan of the flashlight, ensuring reliable performance and protecting the internal components from potential damage caused by chemical exposure.

Flashlights with high impact resistance can withstand drops or impacts without sustaining significant damage, making them suitable for rugged environments or outdoor activities.

The color rendering index (CRI) is a quantitative measure of a light source's ability to accurately reveal the colors of objects in comparison to a natural light source, typically sunlight, under specific conditions. It indicates how faithfully a light source reproduces the colors of objects as they would appear in natural daylight. CRI is measured on a scale from 0 to 100, with higher values indicating better color rendering ability.

Typically, the color rendering index (CRI) of most flashlights is 70. However, you also have the option to customize flashlights or headlamps with higher color rendering indices if desired.

The minimum order quantity for custom flashlights is 500 units.

The production time depends on the actual production situation in our factory, which is usually 40 days. Our production cycle may be slightly longer than other factories because we require more than ten quality evaluation tests before starting the official production process (for new projects).

Yes, we offer tooling samples for a fee. This allows you to test the flashlight and ensure it meets your requirements before placing an order.

The cost of custom flashlights depends on the customization options and the quantity ordered. If the quantity is too small, additional fees may be required for packaging printing.

The warranty for custom flashlights is 2 years. We also provide paid repair services for quality problems that occur after the warranty period has expired.

Changes can be made as long as we have not started purchasing materials or production. However, if production has already begun, changes may not be possible.

LED flashlights generate a lot of heat when emitting light, and solving the heat dissipation problem is a key factor for LED flashlights. The focusing principle of a flashlight involves passing the light emitted by the LED through a lens to refract and focus or diffuse the light. The lens is usually made of transparent materials such as PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), PC (polycarbonate), or silicone. Fixed-focus flashlights mainly use aluminum alloy reflectors to refract the light emitted by the LED together. The heat resistance of aluminum alloy reflectors is much higher than that of plastic materials, so the brightness of a fixed-focus flashlight without focusing adjustment is higher than that of a focusing flashlight with the same configuration.

The internal structure of a fixed-focus flashlight is fixed, making it easier to achieve high waterproof performance. However, the internal structure of a focusing flashlight is changeable, and the waterproof performance cannot be compared with that of a fixed structure.

Sliding focusing is easy to use, but the waterproof performance is slightly worse. Generally, the waterproof performance cannot exceed IP65. Focusing requires sliding the head of the flashlight, which changes the internal space of the flashlight. When switching from flood to spot mode, the internal space of the flashlight increases, and the air pressure decreases when switching from spot to flood mode. If the waterproof performance is too good, the internal air cannot be discharged, which will cause the flashlight to bounce back to the spot mode. Therefore, to use the flood mode smoothly, it is necessary to allow the internal air to be discharged smoothly, which results in lower waterproof performance.

Twisting focusing has good waterproof performance because it can pressurize and expel air from the flashlight by rotating it, resulting in a waterproof performance of up to IP68. However, twisting focusing is not as convenient to use as sliding focusing.

Headlamps are generally twisted focusing, and if it were sliding focusing, the length of the headlamp might be too long and not as aesthetically pleasing.
